Aguadulce - Costa de Almeria

Aguadulce is perfectly located between the Sierra Nevada Mountains, a desert and a long stretch of coastline. Aguadulce holds the record for the most sunshine hours and least rainfall. If you get bored with relaxing on the beach, you will find much to do in the local area. You can drive to Almeria or Roquetas de Mar in less than 15 minutes. Take a daytrip to Cabo de Gata-Níjar National Park to enjoy it’s flora and fauna and in particular the flamingos that the park is famous for.

Almerimar - Costa de Almeria

Almerimar has been purpose built in the sunniest town in Andalucia, A marina sits between two beaches, which combine to some 13 kilometres of sand. If it is sport you are after, it’s all here. Water sports shacks along the beaches, a 27-hole golf course, a canoeing lake and horse riding stables. Lively Roquetas de Mar is only a half-hour drive away.

Vera - Costa de Almeria

Vera offers a glimpse into the old Spain. The Church of the Incarnation is a 16th-century fortress with four large towers and a huge wooden door that conceals a Baroque-style church. It was originally used for protection from pirates. You’ll also find Cafés, boutiques, a picturesque town hall and the Ethnographic and Archaeological Museums. If the beach is an essential part of your holiday, a 15 minute taxi ride takes you to El Playazo a mile long beach with surfing, canoeing and snorkelling.
