Just two coves away from Benidorm Cala Finestrat is a town of two halves.  On the coast is a family friendly sea-side resort with white sand and clear water.
Drive for about 15 minutes into the Puig Campana mountain and will find Finestrat.  Here you will find colourful houses on cobbled streets, a sculpture park and amazing views from El Castell lookout point.

For those who like to dive or snorkel, Isla Tabarca is a protected marine reserve and can be reached by boat.
